Author Guidelines
The languages of publication of DiHA: Journal of Interdisciplinary Legal Studies (Disiplinlerarası Hukuk Araştırmaları Dergisi) are Turkish and English. Submissions must be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by another journal. All authors must approve the submitted version of the article and accept responsibility for the content of the work.
Articles must include a Turkish öz and an English abstract of 150–300 words each, and a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 keywords in both Turkish and English. For all articles written in Turkish, an extended English summary of 600–800 words must also be provided following the abstracts. Articles submitted for publication must not exceed 20,000 words, including footnotes.
The text of the article must be prepared in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing; footnotes must be prepared in 10-point font with single line spacing. Footnotes must appear at the bottom of the page. Citations must follow the Chicago 17 Full Note citation style. Headings must be numbered in the format 1 / 1.1 / 1.1.1.
The article text must not include author information, institutional affiliation, ORCID number, or author contribution details. To ensure that the double-blind peer review process is conducted properly, this information must be submitted to the journal in a separate file.
At the end of the article, a bibliography listing the sources used in alphabetical order by author surname must be included.
Articles must include the following declarations, as applicable to the study, under the heading "Declarations" before the Bibliography. Declarations that are not relevant need not be included.
- Ethics Committee Approval: For studies involving human participants, personal data, or other research requiring ethics committee review, information on ethics committee approval must be provided. Where ethics committee approval is not required, this must be stated explicitly.
- Author Contribution: For multi-authored studies, the contribution of each author to the work must be specified.
- Funding and Acknowledgments: If the research has been supported by any institution or organization, the funding information must be provided; acknowledgments may be included where deemed necessary.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must declare whether there is any conflict of interest related to the study.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence: If artificial intelligence tools were used in the preparation of the study, data analysis, visualization, language editing, or similar processes, the tool used and the purpose of its use must be stated.
Articles must be submitted in Microsoft Word format through the journal's online submission system. Authors are required to comply with the journal's publication ethics principles, copyright policy, and peer review procedures. Articles that do not comply with the principles, policies, and rules will be returned to the author for the necessary corrections without being assigned to reviewers.
