The Role of Agricultural Support by Local Governments in Rural Entrepreneurship: The Konya Example

This study examines the impact of agricultural support provided by local governments on rural entrepreneurship, focusing on the example of Konya. The strawberry seedling support offered by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality in 2019 was implemented to promote entrepreneurial tendencies and support economic development in rural areas. The study used survey methods to assess rural entrepreneurial tendencies (enthusiasm, innovation, determination), and the collected data were analyzed using linear regression. Findings indicate that agricultural support positively affects entrepreneurial tendencies and contributes to rural development.
