Aim & Scope
DiHA: Journal of Interdisciplinary Legal Studies aims to transcend the boundaries of traditional 'black letter law' and treat law as a living phenomenon that resonates within its social context. Instead of approaches that view law as an isolated discipline, our journal encourages studies that center on the interaction of legal norms with other fields of knowledge.
In this context, DiHA provides a platform for research defined in international literature as 'law and...' studies, examining the intersection of law with disciplines such as philosophy, sociology, economics, history, political science, and technology. The journal prioritizes not only theoretical discussions but also studies with methodological rigor where non-legal data is synthesized with legal analysis.
DiHA features articles that blend doctrinal analysis with social science methods, questioning the harmony or conflict (external effectiveness) of law with social reality. The journal accepts research articles, review articles and research notes. Our target audience consists of academics, researchers, and students who adopt an interdisciplinary methodology. The journal publishes articles in both Turkish and English.
